About this site

gridcraft.run is an independent site that hosts the open-source GridCraft spreadsheet so it can be used in a browser without installing anything.

The spreadsheet

GridCraft is made by the ArtCraft team and the GridCraft contributors and published at github.com/storytold/gridcraft. It is dual-licensed under the MIT License or the Apache License 2.0, at your option. Copyright © 2026 ArtCraft Team and the GridCraft contributors.

This site serves the official web build from each GitHub release without modification. The current build is v0.5.0; its zip matched the release’s published SHA-256 checksum (fbd9dbc48694676812c7bbca7f5f2e776cbc52c37d8f425a2dc033b5d23ce606). Every file is served byte for byte as it is in that zip. The only things left out are the sample header files for other web servers (_headers, .htaccess).

The app’s WebAssembly file (15.8 MB) is stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage and streamed from there, with the same bytes and the same name, as on every Craft site we run. The app’s own page preloads it with a Subresource Integrity hash, which you can compare with the file.

The licence texts ship with the build: LICENSE-MIT and LICENSE-APACHE, next to the project’s README and hosting notes. The project’s required notices are in its NOTICE file, and every bundled asset is listed in ATTRIBUTION.md. The release zip also carries three SIL Open Font License texts (BIZ UDPGothic, BIZ UDMincho, Shippori Mincho) from ArtCraft’s shared release packaging.

Product screenshots are from the GridCraft repository (docs/images/, MIT OR Apache-2.0). The project made them with GridCraft itself, using its own sample workbooks.

Report a problem

Bugs in the spreadsheet itself belong in the GridCraft issue tracker, which the GridCraft developers read. Please mention there that you used the web build. Problems with this site or the AI panel: contact@gridcraft.run.
